Why observing here?

Launched in 2006, the Antares project aims to detect and study very high energy cosmic neutrinos in the Mediterranean Sea.

Antares is also a true multidisciplinary observatory at the depths of the Mediterranean, with applications in the areas of oceanography, marine biology and seismology.
